The Jedi Order

I'm not certain how guild creation will be in SWTOR, but I would recommend that upon its release, we all try to get the game asap to reserve this guild name on our server. Also, I'm not sure if it will require money to create a guild, so I would suggest that in the beginning we pool our cash together and give it to Master Morelann so that he may create the guild. I believe we will have to work together in order to maintain the name of "The Jedi Order".

I doubt that we'll have to pay for anything, I've played three MMOs 'till now, in none of them you had to pay for a guild. The second things is, there's a possibility that the Jedi Order name won't even be possible, as the game maybe will implement one or something like that, making it impossible to give the guild such a name. And even if someone steals that, we can always make his life hell or slightly change the name as in The Order or The Jedi...

Given that, I would consider to first try to make this guild an actual and active guild, with more than just 15 or 20 stable members, then really think about money and such things.

True, but WoW does require you to pay to create a guild and SWTOR may do the same because WoW is such a popular MMO.

That is possible the wont allow it, though I doubt it. I would rather us have the name then change it though.

I'm pretty certain the guild will pick up by the time of the release of the game and even if it doesn't, I don't believe there is a problem with planning ahead.

Yeah, then what will the name be if TJO will not be allowed.

I think we shouldn't discuss a new name until we have confirmation from the Developers that it can't be used. For now, it's okay, we should focus about the members and community more than anything else.

Well will deal with all these problems as game release nears. my concern is having a computer able to run the game, I am able to run wow decently, so... Tor might pose a problem, require top of the line software.

Lets hope Lucas arts and Bioware will give us a suspected release date.

Yah, I want them to spend the most time they possibly can to create this game, and make it the very best it possibly can. That way we get the very best in gaming experience and fun.

I’d better write in to the creators of TOR so they can prevent Hybrid from killing me as soon as I start the game… and again later in the game… and again at the end of the game.

Same factions can't kill eachother. The worst he can do is get you down to one health in a duel. That, or kite an uber big bad demon mob to kill you. I wouldn't worry about it.
