Contacting Inactive Members?

I know that I am not the most active in the forums myself but I am on as much as I can each day. I would like to suggest that we try to get those that are not as active involved more often. I know that the majority of those that joined the guild will most likely not be on until TOR is released. Is there anybody that would be willing to try and contact them somehow, either on the TOR forums or send them an email through our guilds main site? I would be willing to contact them but I would not know where to start.

Good idea, I think the site mods have the ability to send a chain email to everyone signed up.

That's Right!! I really think that every master should contact his Padawans and someone else everyone else.

I totally agree with you. I think every Master should contact his Padawans and someone else contact the others. But I hope it's just a period, where people are on vacation.

Yeah thats going to be hard to contact all of the members, I think we should let the most inactive members go and keep the active members.

I think that may be a bad idea. We would be dropping like 80% of the guild lol. I'm pretty sure everyone will wake up when beta hits. I would wait until then, or perhaps the release of the game, before we go through and clean up house.

We still need to establish a solid base. A guild should be enjoyable for newcomers and should be stable, which, regretfully saying, now is not. That is why we need, first of all see, which are the most active members, try to push others, but otherwise, active members are those who should make the ranks, seeing that, others will follow and more people will be active. It's no coincidence that some become inactive right when their master or friend is absent for some time. That said, we should reward active members, but other than the most inactive (like 2 months) we shouldn't really kick people out.

I know that I could be more active, but I can only get on when I am not working. I will try and get on more to try and be a voice on the forums.

I get on as much as possible. We will get more people latter on towards the game release.

I agree. More and more inactive members rejoin lately, and even more new members are seemingly very active.
