Many suggestions!

A few suggestions to help improve website user friendliness:

-Remove the link to the old forums, and replace it with the holonet. So people don't post in the wrong forums, or lurk that forum and see its inactive and decide to split the guild.
-When new members are accepted they should be sent an e-mail stating that the holonet is our forum, and that Jedi Temple is our chatroom, not many of the new members knew this.
-Maybe set 2-3 people as official recruiters on the Official TOR website. Our guilds thread has over 200 replies, many people asking for more detail and aren't getting answered. Then those people are taken in by other guilds.

And that's it thus far, I'll edit in more things as I go.

Also make the banner smaller on the main page (just cut off a bit from the bottom) so the tabs are easier to read.

We really need a more active forums guys!

Yup, it seems like we mostly see the same 6 to 10 people posting. Most are probably going to wait for the game to hit beta though before they become more active, sadly

Unfortunately for that, Patience will be a virtue. Some members won't talk at all with us until the game goes live (sad, but true). But doing whatever we can with our active users will promote a higher quality group for gameplay when the game finally launches. They're the ones missing out!

Oh yes it will. When the game goes live we'll have a lot of weeding-out to do. Size matters not when it comes to a quality guild for a game like this. QUALITY is what truly matters here, people. A Fair sized guild with enumerated rules, a good organized system, and a quality player base makes for a good gaming experience.

This leads me to my next suggestion, which I've brought up before. As we approach launch date, I will again throw out the idea of bringing in Teamspeak or Ventrilo. Obviously as of right now it isn't necessary. But when we start doing things in-game such as PvP, or any kind of raid it will be a VERY useful tool.

It will also have the controls necessary for Council members to act as admins. We can restrict usage as necessary from users we don't want there, and different channels for different gaming purposes. Atani (in Lord of the Rings Online) has used this system and it has worked out extremely well. Let me know what you guys think!

Okay, well allow me to ask:

What is it about Vent that is not understood?

Vent is easy. It allows you to talk to people live from all over the world. It is a computer program designed to allow for player interaction.

Easy to use and easy to Operate. I think it involves a small monetary contribution every month or so to keep your server up, but I may just be imagining that. It'll be a valuable tool, it really will.

Will ours be password protected? And when would we plan on getting one?

I'd suggest password protecting it, yes. And I wouldn't bother getting one until the game at least goes into Open Beta, if not just before the game goes live.

I would wait for a live release if we don't already have one.

Where will we find the vent stuff anyhow?

Just google ventrilo and download it. Once someone has a server up and running, they can send out the info. It's fairly simple. I have one from when I played WoW.
