*bows* Greetings fellow Jedi and troopers. I write this report to inform us of different Jedi Ranks. Some of us may know that there are more ranks than being a Padewan, Knight, Master, or even GM. but this is just to give the overview of the other ranks not yet explored.
In times of war Jedi assumed different military ranks and lead different units into battle. Some battle that Jedi held military ranks were the Mandalorian Wars, The Jedi Civil War, The New Sith War, and the Clone Wars. Some ranks are:
Jedi Commander: This rank was taken by Padawans during the war. Padawan filled this position until they became Jedi Knight and then were promoted to Jedi General. They were given this rank whether they wanted to or not.
Jedi General: This roll was filled my Jedi Knights and Masters serving in the Republic Army.
Senior Jedi General: 20 Jedi Masters serving as Jedi Generals were given this rank for their high experience in Warfare and Battle Tactics.
High Jedi General: Members of the Jedi Council were given this rank. They commanded there own armies and also supervised Senior Jedi Generals, Jedi Generals, and Jedi Commanders.
Jedi Lord: A Jedi was given this title mostly for political motivation. This title was mostly used during the New Sith Wars.
During the times of Warfare, Military ranks were not the only ranks given to Jedi. Other ranks were given due to a Jedi's Specialization in different areas.
Force Warrior: A Jedi was given this rank due to their skills in unarmed combat. There primary use of combat was combining Martial Arts and The Force.
Jedi Ace: Given to a Jedi who was skilled in Starfighter Combat. They combined there use of piloting skills with ther knowledge of the force.
Jedi Sniper: A rank given to Jedi who defended the Jedi Temple. They specialized in long range telekinetic Lightsaber attacks. They used the reverse grip style of fighting.
Jedi Brute: Given to Jedi who were physically strong. They specialized in aggressive combat and used Double Bladed Lightsabers.
Jedi Gatemaster: This rank was given to Jedi who were assigned to keep watch and patrol the gates to the Jedi Temple.
Some Jedi focused there efforts into forms of Healing other than combat.
Jedi Healers: These Jedi focused the force into using Force Healing techniques. They combined there knowledge of the force with there knowledge of Medicine and Medical Technology. Some did join the battlefields to help with healings and some were stationed at the Jedi Infirmary. The most notable Jedi Healers were the Mon Calamari.
Some Jedi focused there talents through learning more about the history of the galaxy, archeology, the Force, and the Jedi Order. Providing knowledge to all.
Jedi Historian: A title given to Jedi who specialized in the research of the History of the Galaxy and indulging in the history of the Jedi Order. Most studied different fields in hopes to better comprehend the galaxy. They were also called Jedi Scholars, and Jedi Chroniclers.
Jedi Librarian: Showed there talents in the retrieval, organization, and storage of knowledge. Most would remain close to Jedi Libraries and others would join the Jedi ExplorCorps in hopes of gaining more knowledge. They were rarely seen in combat but did have some sort of combatant abilities.
Jedi Archeologist: Were like Jedi historians and librarians but preferred to work hands on in the field. They worked the the Jedi ExplorCorps and explored known and unknown areas of the galaxy.
Jedi Geologist: This was the rank given to Jedi who were like Jedi Historians but indulged there studies in geology.
Jedi would often be called in times were diplomacy was needed. They would become moderators and negotiators during times of disputes. There were 2 Jedi classes who were known to be best in diplomacy.
Jedi Sentinel: This was the rank given to Jedi who ferreted out deceit and injustice, bringing it to light. They were generally employed in scouting missions and were skilled in security, computers, stealth techniques, or medicine, and also had diplomatic skills.
Jedi Watchman: Jedi who were in charge with overseeing a particular system or sector in the galaxy. They were highly skilled in diplomacy and knew vast knowledge about the culture of the sector or system the oversaw.
The Jedi Order would often partake in crime fighting. Seeing it as there role to maintain peace in the galaxy. Certian Jedi were chosen because of there specialization in crime detection, investigation, solving and prevention.
Jedi Shadow: This was the rank given to a Jedi who's job was to seek and destroy and signs of the Dark Side of the Force and Sith. They were the orders primary source of destroying any signs of Dark Side activity. They often infiltrated Dark Side cults and groups to expose them.

Jedi Investigator: Jedi who were appointed by the Jedi Council uncover hidden threats to the galaxy such as criminal syndicates. They would often work alone investigating acts of crime and uncovering criminal syndicates. They were also assigned to less dangerous missions like discovering Force Sensitive or solving criminal cases.
Other than the Master-Padawan model, some Jedi were assigned to train different aspects of the Force and the skill requirements to become Jedi.
Jedi Instructor: Jedi who gave general teachings to Jedi initiates, Padawans, and sometimes those who were older. Sometimes Council members who were frequently at the Jedi Temple were common Instructors.
Jedi Battlemaster: A Jedi who was given this rank for having High Lighsaber combat skills. Often the lighsaber combat instructor at Jedi Temples and Academies.
Jedi Trainer: The title given to a Jedi Padawan or Jedi Knight who were responsible for teaching different aspects of the Force.
