| This power at its core is the ability to inspire allies to have better morale in battle, and at the same time the enemies will to fight. Jedi better trained in this power could influence entire fleets, the best example of this is at the battle of Rakatan Prime (aka Battle of the Star Forge) when Bastila returned to the light to direct the fleet toward victory with Revan defeating Malack. While this power could be a great advantage towards some to others it seems to be a pathway towards darkness.
I've noticed that throughout most the materal that while the most powerful Jedi have this power those that have not yet reached the rank of master or knight seem to take a great risk while trying to master this ability. The best example of this is Bastila, while she did lead the republic to victory she had turned to the dark side based on what appeared to Malack convincing her that the Jedi council was using her battle medition. This power while light seems to be some sort of pathway to darkness much the Potentium view of the force. However this is prue speculation, and as some would say baseless in fact.
The Sith also have this ability, but seems to be powered mostly by the dark side. This "Sith" battle meditation is aided by use of a special chamber where the Sith would meditate on the battle at hand. The chamber would amplify the battle meditation so that the Sith could be more effective. This power as Lumiya put is more like Sith Battle Coodination then actual battle meditation.
What would seem to be best while using battle meditation is to use it to influence small battles, and while it could be used on a grander scale try and not place the Jedi using it on a pedestal that would inspire overconfidence and would possibly lead the Jedi towards a fall. | |

| All the same, it is a power to be respected and used with caution. | |

| Agreed. We may respect it like all powers of the force, but it is to be used with extreme caution. | |

| A power that could go along with Battle Meditation is the ability of Battle Precognition. As mentioned by fellow couselors earlier this ability is foresight that would manifest during the midst of battle. It allowed one to sense the flows of the force and anticipate an opponent's moves. According to Brianna (The Handmaiden) the ability became stronger if the user was already using this power, and then trained on how to use it more effectively. The most elite Echani warriors were able to use this ability to the point of even predicting battles and even the course of a war. Revan(according to Brianna) and the Jedi Exile both were believed to use this ability. | |

| Thank you both. As Couselors our job is to find out as much information about powers, and abilities as needed to pass on to our fellow jedi. | |

| I think one of the risk that may exist in the users of battle meditation, which begins just the way that power is to become a degree presumptuous and proud, believing superiors and without a good guide they put their feet in the land can be diverted from the road | |

| I tend to agree with you Kaos. It isn't really the power, but it fills the user with such pride that it makes them think that they are better then everyone else. This assumption as you pointed out tends to lead toward a darker path. | |
